Wet n Wild- Red Red.

After I saw the movie Bridesmaids at the movies a couple of weeks ago I had such a big urge to buy a red polish that was bright and made me looks sophisticated.  I went to Walgreens the next day and picked out this polish by Wet n Wild called Red Red. I have to tell you its SOOO CUTE. Usually reds don't flatter my skin tone but wowza, I'm in loveeeee!! If you could imagine, this is only two coats and there were NO bald patches at all. I wore this polish for like a whole week straight and I didn't even want to take it off, I kept doing a double take when I caught a glimpse of my nails thats how much I liekd it lol.

Does anybody else have a red that just makes them feel HOT??

 

Love & Beauty- Grey

So this is another Forever 21 nail polish, which retails for $2.80. This is called Love & Beauty-Grey.

Although this color doesn't look it does in the bottle its still very pretty. Its a dark grey laced with gold/ olive shimmer. The consistency was totally different than the consistency of Love & Beauty-Olive, it was a lot thicker but in a good way. It went on perfectly in two thick coats and stayed on for 3+ days without chipping which is when I took it off so I'm sure it would have lasted longer also. 

Want to hear some exciting news? I was contacted by a beauty company asking me to review some of their eyelashes! Although my blog is not a 'beauty' blog (makeup/ clothes/ other beauty products) this is my first offer and I am just so excited a company is interested in my opinion so I agreed to do the review. If you guys like the review I may turn it into a once a month post other than nail polish tradition. How about that? Sound good?

China Glaze- Frostbite

Well this is China Glaze - Frostbite, a blue metallic shimmer, from the 2007 Ski Collection which has been a lemming of mine ever since Elodie over at Accro Polish swatched it a while back.

AHMAZINGGG!!!!! Exactly like I thought this polish was totally worth the money.  I thought it may look a little weird on me because I have such an olive skin tone but it still looks just as electric as it did on her. There is just nothing bad I can say about this polish, even down to the consistency and formula it was smooth and went on opaque with two coats although I did three here. 

Don't you love it when you are just shopping around and you pick up a polish that looks interesting and you realize it is something you had actually already wanted it? Ahhh, well thats what happened with this lol I love that!

Well after I did my manicure I thought I should spice it up a little more and since I got a Konad Kit for easter I decided to try it out! I used the M3 plate, the four little stars, and stamped it with the special silver Konad polish on my ring fingers only.  For one of my first times I think it turned out pretty well!

I tried to konad over my last manicure (Love & Beauty- Olive) with the cheetah print on plate M57 but that didn't turn out too great. Pshhh whateverr, I like this one!

Love & Beauty- Olive

Love & Beauty is Forever 21's nail polish line and the last time I was there I picked this up.  Although I love green, this olive tone is something WAYY out of my comfort zone because as you guys know I hate reds, pinks, olives etc and I've been trying to break out of that..which is why I got it haha.

Sorry, I didn't really clean up too well..I did my nails in the dark haha. Anyways this polish was REALLY thin so this is only three coats and to be honest I wish I did a couple more.  I think Forever 21 got the name a little wrong, on the nail it comes out a little more like a dark gold/bronze.  Either way its a pretty color, definitely worth the $2.80 price tag!
